September 12th diary

Awoke 6.30 for open country followed news & Sunday program on radio 4. 8.30 Radio 5 for Sports desk. 9.30 Usual phone call from lady friend. 9.45 Bike to Sainsbury’s for Sunday Express & then on for 10.30 service at Methodist Chapel- read a lesson, Harvest Festival & faith lunch & sale of produce (£50 raised for Pakistan flood appeal) 2pm Watched end of Grand Prix, then to tennis club to watch finals day. Spoke to many old friends. 6pm Drive (2 m) with lady friend to dinner at brothers, given as an apology for forgetting my birthday card. 9pm Home, briefly watched BBC1 and in bed by 9.30pm.
