Many hob nails collected in our area at Silchester or a viking knife found in York, Hungate

Not entirely sure I hope to have completed a Masters and follow some career in field archaeology.
Question 4. An archaeology student’s degree is multi-disciplinary, sociable and academically challenging. During your time as an archaeology student what has been the most memorable moment within or out of the lecture theatre?
How happy I was when I realized how enthusiastic and how much my lecturers enjoy their work in comparison to other lecturers in other fields.
Question 5. What are you currently doing? (Excavating, working, holidaying etc.)
Excavating at Silchester.
Question 6. What are your thoughts and feelings about commercial archaeology?
Its very interesting, I may look for a career in that field if my interest in field archaeology falters but I doubt it.
Question 7. Has your perception of archaeology on TV changed since you undertook your degree? (E.g. Time team, meet the ancestors, Bonekickers).
Yes I do still enjoy them. I see a point to showing the general public a view into the past. However, now see them with a skeptical eye.
