Question 1. In what kind of place did you grow up? (e.g. village, small town, city) Do you still live there now?

my place was place called lochinvar Camp we all lived in what was called nission Huts there were 5 of us mom and dad and 3 brothers , we live there for 5 or so years , it was mixed community but we all playded to gether and my parents ran the Girls & Boys club most families were poor ,but large families we had many happy times i leared to cycle there and made many friends.

Question 2. How would you describe your sexual orientation?

iam mature gay man.

Question 3. What were the best and worst things to happen to you at school?

the best thing when i was areound 6 i became the teachers pet i met at anouther school i was picked on many times for being a lonner.

Question 4. Do you ever have to conceal any aspect of your personal life? Give an example.

well from age of 15 i new i was different and started work as a commis chef i had feelings for some of my fellow work mates but never told them

Question 5. Do your friends and family know about your sexuality/gender? If you have come out, give an idea of when this was and of how people responded.

i think my parents knew but we never discussed it but came out to my younger sister only becaused she asked me and she told me she asked about maybe here some maybe or daughter and told here that i was gay i also told my younger brother he said he thats fine by me , i did think that but waited till you wanted to tell me a few years later i told a aunt she said thats ok you have a nephew who is gay and he had been with his partner for long timei have many gay friend

Question 6. Do you experience discrimination in everyday life? If so, give an example.

yes i was beaten up several times be cause tried to meet guys through walking around places this happend for few years but i could not tell the police why i was beaten up so i left edinburgh for few years came back didnt walk around the city much.

Question 7. Who is likely to be more hostile to you and who is the most supportive of you in your life?

i have few gay friends and they are very supportive , i can ask then any thing my local nurse is very supportive , i can ask here any thing.
