Mundane Appreciation is an agency devoted to promoting the ordinary. In their interactive, participatory and community based projects they use audio, installation, film, audience participation and performance, to celebrate and explore fundamental processes of day-to-day living that are often taken for granted. Their work is inspired by the nature of modern conventions, people’s behavioral patterns and how mundane rituals shape our identities.

Mundane Appreciation is dedicated to collecting, displaying and interpreting the habits and experiences of regular people in regular situations. The aim of their work is to document often unnoticed aspects of modern living and encourage people to consider and re-evaluate familiar aspects of their everyday lives as they are an important part of the changing social landscapes of our time.
