Llandaff Society
The historic village City of Llandaff lies to the north of Cardiff city centre, beside the River Taff. Built on the site of a Roman Road linking Cardiff Castle to Llantrisant, it boasts the magnificent Llandaff Cathedral, a bustling High Street, a picturesque village green and a thriving community. It is the birthplace of Roald Dahl and the site of Dr Who's 'Leadworth'.
The Llandaff Society was founded in 1977, its aims are to stimulate public interest and civic pride in the city, to promote high standards of planning, architecture and design and to secure the conservation of features of architectural, historic or public interest.
