Diary for Sunday 12th September 2010. Cup of tea in bed. Shower. Breakfast – Orange juice and coffee. Worked in garden. Picked up loads of fallen apples. Cut some shrubs back. Trimmed edges of lawn while partner mowed lawn.

A friend called round for half an hour- gave her some cooking apples. Picked eating apples (Worcester’s) and conference pears. Coffee. Fell asleep while watching Grand Prix. Went out for late lunch at Joiners Arms, Bloxham. Had roast beef- could have been more tender.

Took eating apples and pears to my son and his wife. Had a cup of tea with them and looked at their holiday photo’s. Home to watch end of football on TV. Made a couple of phone calls. Helped hang picture on wall- have been looking for the right picture for my recently decorated living room for a few weeks, now found it.

Had cheese and lettuce roll for super. Watched ‘Albert’s memorial’ on TV. Went to bed at 10.45.
